PRIDE TORONTO - PUBLIC ART EXHIBITION at STACKT MARKET
We are honored to announce that "The Invisible Majority" has been selected as one of four public art installations during the 2021 Pride Festival, marking 40 years of celebrating Pride in Toronto.
This powerful installation features 22 striking black and white portraits of members from the Queer BIPOC community, captured by renowned photographer Zahra Siddiqui. Standing 4 feet high and spanning 20 feet wide, these impactful images will be wheat pasted against vibrant Pride colors, creating a bold visual statement celebrating diversity and representation.
Visit this meaningful exhibition at Stackt Market's Pocket Park in Downtown Toronto throughout Pride month, from June 1-30, 2021.
Below, you can explore the creative process behind the mural's development and follow its journey throughout Pride month as it brings visibility to voices that have too often been marginalized within our communities.
